Together Treasure Valley Dog Island is located in the southwest corner of Ann Morrison Park Together Treasure Valley Dog Island opened in 2019 in an area of Ann Morrison Park formerly known as Duck Island.
The dog-centric space is making tails wag and local dog owners happier than ever. Unlike other local dog parks, Dog Island does not have separate sections for small and large dogs. It’s up to owners to determine where their dogs will function best. The primary dog-oriented park space features multiple benches for owners and two covered picnic structures. There is also a “dog beach” with a ramp that makes it easy for puppies to get in and out of the water. It’s the biggest dog park in Boise, a city with the highest percentage of dog ownership in the nation.
